Live performance and installation for Contorted, group exhibition, Public Pool, Hamtramck, MI, January, 2013

A small key hangs at the top of the 14 foot wall at Public Pool and I need to get it.

 

This performance and installation expresses a daily ritual for a 5'2" person: trying to reach things, and finding makeshift ways in which to do so. The work considers behavioral absurdities and physical limitations as imposed by the built environment.
